Who we are
The Yoga List (theyogalist.ie) is an independent directory of yoga classes in Ireland, run by Darren Mooney. It is the sister site of The Retreat List. For anything about your information, email darren.ideas78@gmail.com.
Visitors
We set no cookies and use no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and code are served from this site. The map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, which sees your IP address when the map view is open, as any map does. If you press "Near me", your location is used in your browser only and never sent to us.
Our host (Netlify) and database provider (Supabase) briefly log technical details such as IP addresses to keep the service running.
Teachers who list classes
- Sign-in: by a link emailed to you. We store your email address to sign you in and to contact you about your listing (for example the 8-weekly "still running?" check). It is never shown publicly unless you also enter it in the "public email" box.
- Published: what you enter in your profile and classes: name, photo, bio, town, links, class times and venues. You can edit or delete it at any time from your account page, and deleting your account removes it all.
- Lawful basis: you have asked us to list you.
- Shared: never sold or passed to anyone else. Venue addresses you enter are sent once to OpenStreetMap's geocoder to place the class on the map.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you by emailing darren.ideas78@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
